Founder
The late MR. ZIRAJ RIZAL BIN ABDULLAH, obtained his LLB (Hons) from the University of London in 1991 and chambered with Messrs Gulam Mustaffa & Co, No. 189, Room 107/108, (First Floor), Tuanku Abdul Rahman, 51000 Kuala Lumpur, before his call to the Malaysia Bar in 1994 as an Advocate & Solicitor, and continued to work there as a Legal Assistant until Feb, 1995.
Prior to his call to the Malaysia Bar Mr. Ziraj Rizal was a government servant for 23 years. In 1992 he was awarded the Excellency Service Award.
In 1995, Mr. Ziraj Rizal established Messrs Ziraj & Co as a sole proprietor before it was incorporated into a partnership and subsequently changed its name to Messrs Rizal Many & Logan.
He was actively involved in advising and servicing individual and corporate clients in various legal matter such as claims and disputes, Preparation of Loan documentation, Facility Agreements, industrial claims, labour disputes, commercial and corporate Agreement, debt recovery, bankruptcy, Probate & Administration, family law, civil litigation and general conveyancing.
Mr. Ziraj Rizal was also one of the Panel in the Bar Council Disciplinary Board from 2005 to 2014.
Mr. Ziraj Rizal was a prominent, hardworking and passionate lawyer who is respected and loved by many. He had been actively practising as an Advocates & Solicitors and as a Senior Partner of Messrs Rizal Many & Logan until he passed away on 31st July, 2020.

Mr. Selayamany A/L Muniandy 44 years old obtained his LLB (Hons) from the University of London in 1991 and chambered with Mr Thangaraj Balsundram of Messrs Thangaraj & Associates of Suite 701, 7th Floor, Wisma LalDoshi, 135 Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman, 50100 Kuala Lurnpur, before his call to the Malaysia Bar in mid 1994 as an Advocate & Solicitor.
Prior to his call to the Malaysia Bar, Mr, Selayamany a/l Muniandy worked as a civil litigation and conveyancing clerk with well established legal firms over a period of 11 yrs. He has wide experience in preparation of Bank Loan Documentation, Bridging Loan, Facility Agreements, Sale & Purchase of commercial and residential properties, debt recovery, bankruptcy matters and general conveyancing.
Between 1994 and May 1997, he was employed as a Legal Assistant with the legal firm of Messrs Ganendrah & Associates of No. 402, 4th Floor, Wisma LalDoshi, 135 Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, 50100 Kuala Lumpur. Where he was responsible for preparing of loan documentation and facility Agreements for Bank of Commerce, PhelioAllied Bank Berhad, Perkara Finance Berhad .
Mr. Selayamany a/l Muniandy is actively involved in criminal and civil litigation, and has experience in debt recovery, bankruptcy matter, distress, labour and industrial cases etc.

Mr. Logan was admitted to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate & Solicitor in the High Court of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur in March 1995.
He was groomed at Messrs Kiru & Yong under the astute guidance of Mr. K.Kirubakaran in all areas of litigation especially with regards to leasing, hire purchase and debt recovery matters before proceeding to head the litigation department at Messrs Thevin Chandran & Wong (Kuala Lumpur Office).
During his tenure at Messrs Thevin Chandran & Wong, Mr. Logan was put through the paces in various applications before both the subordinate and the high courts and has had the fortunate experience of working and assisting Mr. Chandran G. Nair in several Federal Court and Court of Appeal cases.
Mr. Logan has in fact carved a niche for himself and the firm especially in litigating contentious bankruptcy and foreclosure matters for various financial institutions and he is widely regarded for his knowledge in these areas of the law.
Mr. Logan then joined Nilai College (a subsidiary of Peladang Kimia) as Assistant Manager of Human Resource and this experimental foray into the corporate world has afforded Mr. Logan with great insights into the field of labour disputes, industrial relations and further honed his skills in negotiation.
During the course of his career, Mr. Logan has learned that the needs of financial institutions, corporations and companies are that work be dispensed with expeditiously and efficiently with fine attention to detail.

Ms. Merdiana Binti Ziraj Rizal obtained her LLB (Hons) from the University Technology MARA (UITM) in 2018 with Second class upper. She chambered with Messrs Rizal Many & Logan under the firm’s Senior Partner, Mr. Ziraj Rizal Bin Abdullah as her Master, before her call to the Malaysia Bar in September, 2019 at the Kuala Lumpur High Court as an Advocate & Solicitor. She continued to work there as a Legal Assistant until January 2020 when she was admitted as a one of the Partner of the firm.
Prior to 2008 Ms. Merdiana who is also a Degree holder in BBA (Hons) from Multimedia University, Malaysia have various experience in few corporate entities including Maybank Berhad, Digi Telecommunication Sdn Bhd and NZ Wheels (NAZA GROUP OF COMPANIES).
In 2008 she joined Messrs Rizal Many & Logan as a Legal Secretary where she was groomed by Mr. Ziraj Rizal in many areas of practice including Conveyancing, Will, Probate and Administration, Bankruptcy, Power of Attorney, Lease and Tenancy and Civil Litigation. In the same year, she pursue her Legal studies by joining UITM as a part-time student where she did her Bachelor of Legal Studies and subsequently continue to obtained her LLB from the same University. She has been with Messrs Rizal Many & Logan ever since.

Mr. Chandran G. Nair is a Consultant to the firm. He is a Bachelor of Laws (Hon) from University of Singapore having graduated in 1967. As a civil litigation lawyer, he has handled cases in practically all the High Courts in Peninsular Malaysia as well as the Court of Appeal and the Federal Court.
Called to the Bar in 1968, he started as a legal assistant with Maxwell Kenion Cowdy & Jones, Ipoh. He set up the firm of Thevin Chandran & Siva in 1971 along Mr. S. Theivanthiran and Mr. G. Sivapragasam. When Mr. Chong Sin Kwong joined the firm in 1975, it became known as Thevin Chandran, Siva & Chong. The name was changed several times over the years and continued as Thevin Chandran & Assocs. Until 2016, when Mr. Chandran G. Nair set up a sole proprietorship in his name (Chandran Nair & Associates) in Petaling Jaya.
With 55 years of experience both in general civil litigation he has also had considerable experience in Bank documentations, conveyancing, probate and related litigation as well as Company matters and continues to be actively involved in our firm.

Mr. Loong graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (L.L.B) honours degree from the University of London as a part-time external student in 1991 and obtained the certificate of Legal Practice (CLP) from the qualifying Board of Malaysia in the following year.
He then read in law in the chambers of M/s Shearne Delamore & Company in 1993 and was called to the Bar and admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor in the High Court of Malaya in July 1994.
In 2003, Mr Loong completed the Master of Laws (L.L.M) degree from University of Malaya.
He is also an associate member of both the Chartered Institute of Bankers, London (now known as The London Institute of Banking and Finance) and Institute Bank-Bank Malaysia (“IBBM”) (now known as Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers).
He authored the first Study Guide in “Retail Financial Services”, an optional paper in the Diploma in Banking and Finance offered by IBBM in 1995.
Mr Loong commenced legal practice in May 1995 as a partner in the firm of Ng Cheng Kiat & Partners (which later changed its name to Cheng Kiat & Lim). He left legal services in July 2003 and served in the corporate sector for a brief period.
